The standard we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across tipsignal.net, on phones first, including on slow connections and older Android browsers.
How we check it
- Every release runs automated accessibility checks (axe) on each page and fails on any critical issue.
- Pages are tested at 360 px wide with no sideways scrolling, and no text is smaller than 11 px.
- Every panel and pop-up closes with Escape and returns focus to the button that opened it.
- Charts and probability rings have text alternatives; colour is never the only way information is shown.
- Today, past predictions, proof pages and legal pages render their content with JavaScript turned off.
Known limitations
- Signing in uses a human check from Cloudflare (Turnstile), which needs JavaScript. If it does not work for you, email us and we will help.
- Share images (tip and slip cards) are pictures; the same information is on the page as text, and each card can be copied as text.
